The Pineal Gland

5d.1A tiny gland located in the center of the brain named the Pineal is a very important organ that researchers have found to be vital for physical, mental and spiritual health. The pineal gland is located behind the third cerebral ventricle in the midline (between the two cerebral hemispheres) of the brain. Its name is derived from its shape, which is like that of a pine cone.

Pythagoras, Plato, Iamblichus, Descartes and others wrote of this gland with great reverence. It has been called “the seat of the soul.”

“My view is that this gland [pineal gland] is the principal seat of the soul, and the place in which all our thoughts are formed. It is situated in the most suitable possible place for this purpose, in the middle of all the concavities; and it is supported and surrounded by the little branches of the carotid arteries which bring the spirits into the brain.” – Rene Descartes (1640).

“The seat of the soul is where the inner world and the outer world meet. Where they overlap, it is in every point of the overlap.” – Novalis, poet, author, and philosopher of early German Romanticism.

The pineal gland is an endocrine gland that is the source of melatonin (a serotonin derived hormone) that regulates circadian rhythm (sleep cycle). Melatonin is most noted for its role as a sleep hormone. It is produced in the pineal gland in the brain when it’s dark outside – thus its nickname, “the hormone of darkness.” Deficiencies in this hormone can cause sleeplessness, among many other side-effects.

“Clarify and harmonize your life without losing the Single Eye which sees the context or the two eyes which recognize the details” – Dogen

Activating the pineal gland (third eye).
The third eye can be awakened by focusing all your attention on it.
Close your eyes and focus both eyes on the space in the middle of your eyebrows for two minutes.
After a while you will feel that the gland itself is magnetically pulling your attention,
And see projections of heightened thoughts and images playing in front of your mind eye, like on a film screen.
You become a witness to a grander scheme of transpiration.
Once the pineal gland is activated, creativity abounds.

Flow music using the pineal gland:
Close your eyes and focus both eyes on the space in the middle of your eyebrows for two minutes.
After two minutes play flow music.
When you begin to create from this space, your creations will benefit all of humanity.

The most important step in activating the pineal gland is to raise the frequency in the body using flow music and focus.

Functions of the pineal gland:
The energy-sensitive pineal gland has a rich metaphysical history, which transcends its hormonal function. The ancients believed that the pineal gland was our connection to the realms of thought, spiritual wisdom and knowledge – a state where all ignorance vanishes.

Dr. Rick Strausmann (Stanford University BS with Honors in Biology and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine MD with Honors) theorizes that DMT (Dimethyltryptamine is a naturally occurring neurotransmitter similar in structure to serotonin) is created in trace amounts by the pineal gland during normal metabolism, and may be released in massive amounts during birth, death, hallucinations and dreams. He states “We produce DMT naturally. Our brain seeks it out, pulls it in, and readily digests it. As an endogenous psychedelic, DMT may be involved in naturally occurring psychedelic states that have nothing to do with taking drugs, but whose  imilarities to drug induced conditions are striking.”

Ancient research shows that the pineal gland is our connection to the unknown, the supernatural. Dr. Rick Strausmann, MD states “It may be upon endogenous DMT’s wings that we experience other life – changing states of mind associated with birth, death, and near death, entity or alien contact experiences, and mystical spiritual consciousness.”

Edgar cayce – The sleeping prophet:
Edgar Cayce (1877 – 1945) was an American mysticist. While in a trance, Cayce was able to answer questions on a wide variety of subjects that he should not have known the answers to, such as healing, reincarnation, wars, Atlantis and future events. The trance gave him access to timeless universal knowledge.

5d.2This extraordinary ability came about in 1905, when he fell sick and was in a coma for three days. The doctors had lost all hope of finding a way to bring him back to consciousness and on the evening of the third day the doctors predicted that within four to six hours he would either die or, if he lived, he would have suffered terrible brain damage because the delicate veins and cells of his brain were disintegrating.

While still in a state of unconsciousness, Cayce provided the solution to his malady. He suggested that he should be given a particular herbal medicine to drink. The doctors thought this remedy was part of his madness because the substances he requested were not known to cure a condition such as his. Despite their misgivings, they did administer the remedy to Cayce and, very quickly, he made a full recovery.

After he was conscious and the incident was related to him, Cayce could not remember suggesting any such medicine. He neither knew the names of the medicines nor recognized the look of them. But this event in Edgar Cayce’s life was the beginning of an extraordinary gift. He was able to cure incurable diseases – he cured approximately thirty thousand people during his life by prescribing them medicines while in a trance – but he himself was unable to explain the phenomenon.

All he could say was that whenever he closed his eyes in search for a treatment, both his eyes turned upwards as if pulled towards the middle of his two eyebrows. While his eyes were fixed on that point, he lost track of everything else, and from this place of no thoughts, of total inner silence, he could tap into the solutions.

“The soul through these disciplines has an organ purified and enlightened, an organ better worth saving than ten thousand corporeal eyes, since truth becomes visible through this alone” – Plato

As reported in a 2002 Bioelectromagnetics journal, S.S. Baconnier, dissected 20 human pineal glands and found 100 to 300 micro-crystals per cubic millimeter inside of them. These hexagonal micro-crystals, composed of a mineral called calcite, were found floating inside the pineal glands and were very similar to crystals found in the inner ear known as Otoconia.

Otoconia crystals expand and contract due to the presence of electromagnetic fields, a function that is known as the “piezoelectric process”. These crystals are capable of tuning into radio stations without the use of electricity. Many of these crystals give off light, which is known as piezoluminescence, and they can also turn sound into electricity. Microphones use piezoelectric crystals to turn sound vibrations into electrical current. These crystals could be responsible for an electromechanical biological transduction mechanism in the pineal gland, due to their structure and piezoelectric properties.

In layman’s terms, the pineal gland may be the receiver and transmitter for communication with other dimensions of reality, for use in telepathy, remote viewing, dreams and out-of body experiences. Perhaps the pineal gland is a direct line to God and we simply have lost the ability to use it correctly.
